Hello from the Delaware Bay! We did it! We got through this long, cold winter. (Oh how I hope!) We're not putting the boat in yet (yes we got it fixed after the stranding last summer) but we're at the little cottage getting a dose of salt air and seeing what we need to do to get it ready for the spring.
I sleep better down here, i'm happier, i'm more creative and i'm an all around a better person. |
However; I have two sick kiddos (what is this going around! Just colds but still) and all of us together with the dog in 600 sq feet can be a challenge even without sniffles 🤧. But love ❤️🩹 grows in small spaces right?
Another thing I tend to do at the bay is relax my food choices a little, maybe even have a cocktail (gasp) but for me that's progress since I tend to be too rigid at times around my health rules.
So heres what I do: 1) Give myself grace ✅ 2) Ditch the tracker for the night ✅ 3) Move more! ✅ 3) Follow the 80/20 rule ✅ - Stick with good food/sleep/exercise decisions 80% of the time and 20% just let It all go.
This last one is something we talk about in my latest episode of StRest with my new favorite food expert - Natalie Feder! |
What I brought with me to the bay! 24 hours, cant be without.
I take either the powder or capsule mag glycinate at night 550 mg and then I take the neuro-magnesium during the day as directed. Use code “sleep” for 10% off. Enjoy! 2️⃣ Hydration drops. Were all dehydrated, esspecaily if youre not eating well or have alcohlol. I add these to everything. No taste and full of great trace minerals. 3️⃣ I might take off my tracker but I keep wearing my Apollo Neuro for sleep and stress relief. Get $60 dollars off and a free gift.
April Happenings! Springs a great time to get aligned with sleep, stress, movement and purpose. Don't forget to sign up for my April Events to learn more and ask me questions live. ❤️🎙️ |
Be well xoxox, Kerstin |
